After surviving her fall from the balcony unscathed, Sheila immediately rushed to Deacon and asked him to run away with her. Bill, Ridge and the FBI knew exactly where Sheila was going and came there to arrest her. It was revealed to Sheila that not only Bill but also Deacon has betrayed her. All this was too much for Sheila and she collapsed at Bill's feet. Bill thought that Sheila was just faking it, and coldly left the place.
As Bill, Ridge and Deacon celebrate their victory over the evil Sheila, she is wheeled into the hospital with a real heart attack. When Sheila's heart stops, Li and Finn act as her doctors. Li wanted to let Sheila die, but her kind-hearted son revived his mother back into the books of the living.
Meanwhile, elsewhere, Bill and Ridge told their heroic story to an incredulous audience. Bill had not lost his mind but saved all future generations from Sheila's atrocities.
Sheila, who was in prison again, got a surprise guest, Finn's father Jack. Sheila tried hard to get Jack on her side, after all he is a lawyer. But Jack said he didn't want to be dragged into Sheila's madness.
So Sheila stays in jail, at least for now...
