In the previous spoiler for The Bold and the Beautiful, Hope and Carter managed to take over Forrester. Now they want a good, bright CEO for the company - they want Brooke. And without any further convincing Brooke agrees to do it!
Brooke's appointment as CEO is immediately announced live, much to the shock of the Forresters. Brooke has betrayed them too!
But then Brooke secretly reveals to Zende that she has an ulterior motive: She's planning to get the power back to Ridge and Steffy!
So Brooke already betrayed Hope and Carter by telling Ridge about their coup plot. And yet these two fools ask Brooke to be the CEO of Forrester? Trusting that Brooke wont betray them again? Now that's two idiots at the helm.
Elsewhere, Ridge tells Taylor that Hope and Carter's betrayal was terrible, but what Brooke just did is something much worse. But luckily Ridge has Taylor by his side. "Maybe you were right all along, Doc," Ridge thinks. Maybe Brooke isn't good for him.
The situation progresses to Ridge just wanting to love Taylor, and they end up in bed. But then wine is spilled on Taylor, and the moment is interrupted.
And at the same time, Brooke knocks on the door of the Forrester mansion, wanting to talk to Ridge. It seems a bit late, Ridge already thinks Brooke has betrayed him.
When Brooke tries to tell Ridge her important news, Taylor appears from upstairs, wearing Ridge's shirt. Brooke immediately leaves without listening to any explanations.
Later, Brooke finally tells Ridge that she's going to get the company back to the Forresters. But Ridge's reaction isn't what Brooke expected. Ridge thinks Brooke is not loyal to them, and Ridge continues to berate Hope. In Ridge's eyes, Brooke is on the enemy's side.
Ridge thinks there's only one woman loyal to him - Taylor. Okay then. Brooke says Ridge made his choice when he decided to share his bed with Taylor. Brooke is making her own now. She deserves a man who loves only her, and that man isn't Ridge. Brooke wishes she'd never set foot in the Forrester mansion. That she hadn't taken that catering gig decades ago.
Ridge doesn't approve of Brooke running his family business. Brooke is upset that Ridge doesn't see her as a family member, but as someone inferior.
Brooke slaps Ridge in the face, and wishes him luck with his second choice, Taylor. As she leaves, Brooke shoves Taylor, who has just arrived.
Later, Ridge organizes a romantic evening for Taylor, which Donna spies on. Ridge suggests to Taylor that they move in together to the old beach house. While Donna reports what she saw and heard to Brooke and Katie, Ridge and Taylor make love.
How many years has Taylor been waiting for this moment? And how many seconds will this relationship last this time?
