Thomas returns with a surprise

While a serial killer is on the rampage in The Bold and the Beautiful, Sheila was taken in for questioning as a suspect in the murders. Especially Steffy and Li think that Sheila must be guilty. But is she?

Some time ago, Thomas left with Douglas to Paris with a broken heart. Hope had rejected his proposal, not just once but twice. And when Steffy grossly instigated enough, Thomas left Hope and Los Angeles behind. The reason for this was Thomas' performer Matthew Atkinson's other projects.

But now Hope was excited when Thomas and Douglas unexpectedly returned home. Hope's smile froze when a third person appeared. And this third person Douglas calls his mother.

Paris. While in Paris, Thomas has become engaged to Paris. A happy family?

Hope is shocked to say the least. Of course, she can't accept that Thomas has moved on in life, and tries hard to get him to change his mind.

At Forrester's Independence Day party, Hope feels like an outsider. Especially when Eric and the others are already getting very excited about planning Thomas and Paris's wedding.

Finally, Thomas proposes to Hope for the third time. And despite all her whining and declarations of love, Hope still can't say yes to Thomas' proposal. So Thomas was right. He knew Hope would say no again, and he proposed again just to prove his point. Hope would never marry him, so Thomas is engaged to Paris.

After saying no to Thomas for the third time, Hope naturally seeks comfort from Finn. Finn thinks Thomas is not a good enough man for Hope.

Steffy suggests to Thomas that he should go back to Paris. With Paris and Douglas. And that's what Thomas immediately does. Again. Steffy has been made into a really obnoxious character lately.

But Hope won't stay idle. She finally tells Finn about her feelings. She thanks him for helping her, and says that Steffy is lucky to have him. But is Steffy grateful for him? Does she appreciate him? Hope admits that she finds Finn attractive. She'd be lying if she said that she doesn't think about Finn, and what it would be like to be with him.

Finn says that Hope shouldn't talk like that. Hope knows that. "Can't a girl dream?"

Finn wonders if Hope's quarrel with Steffy is behind her words. "This isn't about Steffy, it's about you," Hope says.

Just then, Finn receives a message that Sheila has been released after police interrogations because there is no evidence against her. Hope is happy for Finn.
